We had some snow last Saturday, and again a couple of times during the week. It wasn't a lot, but last year we didn’t have any until we got that one big monster, that made up for the delay. In a couple of days it’s supposed to be warm again.
We Finally Got Big Snow
Yes we did, but we were so snowed in, we could not get out. We had such awful circumstances this time around. In my little community, we were down one maintenance guy because he broke a femur. Then our second guy does’t show up for hours for this huge snowfall, and when he does he’s... Continue Reading →
Make A Wish
We finally got some snow…some…snow. Not a lot, but we’ll take it. It seems to keep splitting this year when it gets to us. The north gets it, the south gets it, and it splits over us. The little we got was mixed with rain and it froze. Last night we were bombarded with ice... Continue Reading →
Winter at Bear Creek Falls
Bear Creek Falls in eastern Pennsylvania, is on the way to the very dry Francis E. Walter Dam. It’s located off of Rt. 115 just south of Wilkes Barre. It was frozen the 1st day but had no snow. We went back the next day after a light snowfall and also some sun. We really... Continue Reading →
One Major Snowfall But Lasting Ice
Last couple of years we were creamed with snow. This year only one good one so far. Tomorrow we may get some, but not much. So, we have a lot of brown all over the place. Now, I like brown. I have brown shoes, brown pants, brown is okay, generally. But trees suck when all... Continue Reading →
SNOW…Finally!
Well, it took a while coming this year but when it did it sure made up for the lost time. We got 15 inches, a short ride north only got an inch, but just a few minutes south of us were whacked. Over 30 inches and further south worse. I have no idea where they... Continue Reading →
Last Gasp of Winter
Hopefully! What a year. I can’t take any more Global Warming! Shoveling, shoveling, shoveling! Everyone’s back is shot! Chiropractors surely had a good year. Salt and sand producers too. The New England area was whammed. We don’t really know if it’s still there. There have been some reports that they are, but we must wait to... Continue Reading →
Fresh Snow Covers a Multitude of Sins
Nothing like a nice coating of fresh snow to cover over the dark, black grit from the last snowfall. I managed to get some nice photographs this time. Fresh snow is beautiful and makes me think of the forgiveness of sins. Everything is new moment by moment. Ultimately, all things will be new in the... Continue Reading →
The Problem With Open Borders
We’ve discussed before, at length, how we have illegal aliens walking among us. A lot of people are for “open borders”. They should get their heads examined. How do we know what these aliens want? We don’t know if they’re dangerous or not. Well they are, and I can prove it. See here: I went... Continue Reading →
