How Does Franklin Graham Know What Jesus Would Advocate?

Franklin Graham said “I have even been asked if Jesus were physically walking on earth now, would He be an advocate for vaccines. My answer was that based on the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Bible, I would have to say—yes, I think Jesus Christ would advocate for people using vaccines and medicines to treat suffering and save lives.”

He then went on to give a totally out of context interpretation of the parable. Big mistake for anyone, but especially a minister. Scripture always has a context. Taking Scripture out of its context changes its meaning.

From Luke 10: 25: Jesus told this story in answer to 2 questions from a lawyer of the Law. In those days Jews and Samaritans hated each other. The lawyer asked:

1- “Teacher, what must I “do” to inherit eternal life?” (No one can “do” anything to inherit something. You need to be born into the family.)

Jesus told him to keep the Law and he said he did. But he didn’t and lied. No one can keep the Law which is why Jesus came to pay for our sins. The lawyer did not love his Samaritan neighbors, he hated them and Jesus knew. But then he wanted to justify himself and asked Jesus:

2- “And who is my neighbor?”

Jesus then told this story and at the end asked him “who proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into robbers hands?” The lawyer answered “the one who showed mercy.” He wouldn’t even say he was a Samaritan. Since he wanted to justify himself, Jesus told him “Go and do the same.” Could he? We know no more, the story ends. 

Jesus is not telling anyone to take vaccines to love your neighbor. His story was told so we would see our sin and our need for our Savior. We don’t and can’t keep the Law of God. Jesus is our Substitute before our Father. He and He alone kept the Law. We always try to do better but our ‘good deeds’ are still full of sin. We are always in need of forgiveness. And Jesus is rich in forgiveness. 

This parable can not be used to guilt people into taking the vaccine. Science is NOT settled on anything and it is NOT the Gospel. Many doctors and researchers disagree with Dr. Fauci, he’s lied to multiple presidents and about multiple viruses. There is no “isolated” virus so there can be no accurate test for it much less a vaccine. Beware of government doctors, they’re no better than snake oil salesmen. They make a fortune off of us. Also it is not a vaccine. We have once again been duped by Dr. Fauci.

Franklin Graham is supposed to be a mister of the “Gospel of Jesus Christ” not a vaccine hawker. He actually used Jesus Words as a weapon to spiritually harm people. The virus is in the secular realm and should be left up to each individual what to believe and do about it.

No one should speak of the unknown will and Word of God. We only know what is written down.
