Pittston’s “Inspiration Mural”

A lot of the old towns are trying to revive, in both business and appearance. Pittston is doing a great at both. Like a lot of towns around here they’re painting murals on old buildings. You can see three in this photograph.
It’s always fun to stop in Pittston.
Check out this great mural. You’d have to see it in person to get the full effect, it’s really well done. “Inspiration Mural” stands five stories high and depicts the history of Pittston. The artist, Michael Pilato, says the mural is the third largest in Pennsylvania.
