Christmas Window Reflections

Christmas Day we went for a walk in Jim Thorpe. The place was empty which is just the way I like it.  We wanted to see the decorations and windows. I love how you can capture reflections from the other side of the street, especially when no one is around. Here’s a few shots:

Christmas-Gateway

Christmas-OrnamentJim Thorpe has a lot of cool alley ways. Most people love to decorate their homes and walkways for the rest of us that love their town.
Friendly-Snowman-1

Friendly-Snowman-2This handsome guy just kept tipping his hat to me over and over again. What a friendly snowman! No wonder people like to come here.
Wild-HorseNothing can tie this wild horse down, not even the beautiful woman behind him. On the other hand maybe she put a spell on him and scared him to death.
Cold-BearCheck out this guard bear. No one will break into this store with this guy on patrol. But he seems to be a bit chilly as he wraps the pretty Christmas scarf around his back.
Sad-OwlHere’s an owl that seems to want to be anywhere but here. He looks like he’s going to cry. That’s unusual. Owls are usually scary looking. This is why it’s very important to know who you are. He should say to himself, “I’m an owl for goodness sake! My job is to frown! Just do it!”
Christmas-Chandelier-1

Christmas-Chandelier-2This beautiful chandelier looks so cool with the other reflections from across the street.
Glory-AngelOf course there has to be a glorious angel proclaiming Christ’s birth. Salvation from sin is still our greatest need today. Thanks be to God, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.
That’s a proclamation to shout about.
Party-GuyWho does stuff like this? There’s always someone that doesn’t know how to hold his liquor. This guy’s started partying a little early. New Year’s Eve is right around the corner but he just couldn’t wait. We all know people like this, don’t we?

Have a wonderful New Year!
